Resources
Beta is committed to creating more resources and making digital art and digital culture more accessible and understandable - from the AI Art Assembly reports and resources on AI Art and policy to transitioning away from Big Tech to European or local alternatives.
Beginning in 2026 Beta Festival is working with the Arts Council of Ireland and Arts Council Northern Ireland to map art and technology in Ireland - the purpose of this is to produce an evidence-based, high-level overview of the art and technology ecosystem that will inform future policy development, funding decisions, and potential further research or investment programmes by both Arts Councils.
This aligns closely with Beta’s own goals of enriching the ecosystem in Ireland and beginning to develop a growing national directory celebrating the people and organisations shaping digital art in Ireland.
Designed to increase visibility, strengthen connections and create new opportunities, the directory enables artists, researchers, producers and organisations to showcase their work, discover collaborators and become part of a growing creative network.
Over time, it will become Ireland's most comprehensive resource for digital art, supporting connections both nationally and internationally.
