Aisling Murray

Founder and Director

Aisling Murray is founder and director of Beta digital arts festival. A curator and creative producer with 15 years’ experience across exhibitions, festivals, literature, spoken word, theatre and dance, Murray has worked with the Goethe-Institut Irland in developing their Quantum Technology Art residency, as curatorial producer for the Ireland pavilion at the World Expo Osaka 2025 and was Head of Programming at Science Gallery Dublin (the founding Science Gallery in the international network) up until its closure. Murray is interested in work at the intersection of art, society and technology with specific interest in immersive technologies, artificial intelligence, industry collaboration and socially engaged work. She was a mentor for Arebyte’s Hotel Generation programme 2025 for the next generation of digital artists in the UK and is one of the jury members for the Prix Ars Award in Interactive Art+ in 2026. Aisling was recently recognised in Ireland in the Top 100 list for her significant contributions to the tech and cultural sectors in Ireland.
