Project Title: SEED - Sensory Experiences of Environmental Data

Collaborators: Dr Trish Morgan - Assistant Professor, School of Communications, Dublin City University (DCU). Her research focuses on environmental crisis communication, interdisciplinary engagements between geography and media, and developing creative practices to make environmental knowledge meaningful.

Dr István László - Researcher and creative technologist working in sensory media and embodied data practices as part of the SEED research team. 

What is SEED: SEED (Sensory Experiences of Environmental Data) explores new ways of communicating environmental information using all five senses (sight, sound, touch, smell and taste) instead of relying solely on visual or textual data formats. The project aims to make environmental data accessible, visceral and personally meaningful for diverse audiences by designing open-access toolkits, resources, and experiential methods that translate data into sensory engagement.
