Overview: AlanJames Burns is a neurodivergent, environmental and audio-visual artist, curator, festival maker and researcher whose practice is rooted in interactive, socially engaged, site-specific and sensory experiences. Their work explores the intersections of neurodiversity, climate change, disability justice and embodied perception, often centring collaborative processes with diverse communities.

Notable Commissions/Projects: Unmasking Nature - A guided sensory experience co-created with neurodivergent collaborators at Cavan Burren Park, exploring joyful and intuitive engagement with natural environments through sensory cues, foraging and more-than-human communication.
